Shoe Dazzle Review

So I have had a few people I know actually participate in Kim Kardashian's Shoe Dazzle Club. Basically you pay $40 bucks a month and they send you a pair of shoes based on your taste and style. The only reason I haven't able to participate is because they don't carry 11s:(. I did talk to friends though so I can get an idea on the quality, styles, and generally is this worth membership.

Pros
Most of the shoes are extremely cute, eyecatching, and compliment worthy.

The heels are extremely high - this be a pro for some, and a con for other...but I love high heels. I think they are ultra femimine and sexy.

The price is right? Supercute shoes for $40 a month and great way to increase your shoe collection. Every girl has a shoe collection right. Anywho, even if you dont like the shoe options you can skip that month or two or three. Please note: While I think the concept is cute I dont recommend anyone's entire shoe collection come from one designer. I also do believe that your collection should consist of shoes from the low end to the high end!

Cons

The shoes they send according to your taste can be a hit or miss. When signing up you give them an idea of what your style is, this can only be so accurate. Its not uncommon for people to have to send shoes back after receiving them.

A lot of the heels are extremely high!!! Leann, a follower and friend of mine, is already 6ft tall. The shoes seem to have 4 inch heels and 1 inch platforms, so you definitely have to know what you are doing when it comes to walking. These heels aren't for the faint at heart.

They are $40 shoes, so it is to be expected that the shoes won't be top quality, which I think that goes without saying. The great thing is even though the top quality leathers and what not may not be there, the style aesthetic is.

Sidenote:  Be sure to pick up The Curvy Girl's Guide to Style (book) for your curvy girl style needs or as a great gift.  The book can be purchased on the left side of this website.  We love our followers and commenters.

  1. Yeah I have signed up for the shoe dazzle service and have skipped every month since I had a membership.. I canceled last month. There are a few different designers but I did notice that most of the shoes come from Michael Antonio and while they are a great design, there is a place I know of in downtown LA that sells the shoes for $7.99.

  2. @NikkiDeevah.....WOWOWOWOWOWOW...are you serious...must be nice to live there...yea that was my apprehension...I have know quite a few online boutiques (that shall remain nameless) that take shoes from the $10.00 store and try to jack up the prices to $40 or more. But in Atl have yet to see those shoe designs in those types of stores.

  3. the concept of shoedazzle is nice, however Shoedazzle itself is not the designer, they are from many different brands. I'd like to add that you can find most "shoedazzle shoes" on other websites for much cheaper prices..this is why I no longer am a member..I just buy mine from the other websites, why buy 1 when I can get 2 for almost the same price? and its the same exact shoe.

  11. the pink ones are actually one of the few exclusives made specially for shoedazzle during breast cancer awarness month and they donated a % of the money to susan g komen...the websites are shoeocean.com, urbanog.com, makemechic.com, gojane.com..they have mostly all the shoes that shodazzle offers

  12. Sadly even the hot pink one's aren't exclusive, I found an online store on ebay selling the "Stephanies" in hot pink. I do love ShoeDazzle though and until they start making exclusive shoes I'm only ordering Michael Antonio's and Chinese Laundry. If you check endless.com you can find almost every Michael Antonio ShoeDazzle offers and they cost much more.

  13. I will agree! Chas.. you have to have a collection of shoes that are from low to high... I love the concept of having the shoes that I like in my size available and I don't have to hunt when I don't want to ... however I happen to be a leather snob! I think my mother instilled that in me ... its not quality if its not leather...LOL I have seen some of the shoe way cheap on urbanog.com

  16. @Leslie-Ann and @Garner Style ... let me know if you find a similar club or website that carries affordable leather shoes. I just found out about shoedazzle.com today and they only thing stopping me from joining is that the shoes that they offer are not made of leather

  17. Leslie-Ann & ooLADYMEoo thank you for those sites!

  18. they charged me for the last 2 months without me knowing. then refused to refund half the money. the one pair I did order was bad quality even for $40. If you want cheap shoes, go to Payless and save $20

  19. I'm not sure if you already found this out or not, but ShoeDazzle now carries 11's. I was waiting to join because of the same thing. I'm waiting for my first 2 pairs to arrive now.

  20. @Ceili~When you first sign up, it tells you that if you don't want to buy that month, there is a "not this month" option that you are responsible for before the 5th of every month. If you don't tell them to skip the month, they charge the $39.95 & give you a credit that you can use at your convenience. It's all there. You just need to read what you are signing up for.

  21. was a member of shoedazzle for over a year and only got crappy shoes and hangbags out of the deal. Each shoe I ordered either broke or was painful to wear. I would send the shoes back and ask for my money back and was told each time I needed to pick another crapy shoe as an exchange, that they dont give money back.I tried to cancel my membership so many times, but each exchage would result in another crappy shoe. I decided to just say to hell with it and got 2 cheap bags (both fell apart within months) save your money ladies! All items come from china and are crap!

  22. I've been apart of ShoeDazzle since March...so it hasn't been that long. I used to shop at DSW but now I really only shop shoes at SD - why? coz 1)$40 is NOT expensive for shoes 2)They are actually quite comfortable 3)free shipping & returns

Quality isn't the best...but I've worn down three pairs of maddens and two $150 guess and BCBG shoes and for the price, I can deal with a fold here and there or some minor glue stains. I haven't had a bad experience with SD yet. If something is damaged or not correct, their CS has been superb.

Oh, I also canceled my JustFab account after finding SD and thinking about quitting Shoe Priveee too.

  23. To all of you saying it's "cheap" what did you expect for $40? It seems you played yourselves thinking you were going to get top quality. That's not the company's fault, it's your own. SD has always been advertised as an inexpensive brand. If you want top quality, you will have to spend more and SD isn't for you.

    1. Very True!!! You definitely get what you pay for...and personal choice of shoe has a lot to do with how "cheap" the shoe looks.
